Dr. Akinola is the Barbara and David Zalaznick Professor of Business at Columbia Business School and Director of the Sanford C. Bernstein & Co. Center for Leadership and Ethics. She received her PhD in Organizational Behavior from Harvard University. Her research examines how stress affects workplace performance and the dynamics of diversity in organizations.
