Hirono, Ryokichi

Prof. Ryokichi Hirono is B.A. Morehouse College, 1954
 M.A. He was IAM Academic Vice-Chancellor between 1996 and 2000.The University of Chicago, 1959
Since 1954, he worked as interpreter, Department of State, U.S, Federal Government, as research assistant to the director, Industrial Relations Institute, University of California, Berkeley, as economist at Japan Management Association, Industrial Research Centre, as Instructor, Associate Professor and Professor at Seikei University at undergraduate and graduate divisions, as visiting professors at Saitama University Graduate School of Policy Science and a number of other universities in Japan and overseas including National University of Singapore and many other universities in Asia, Oceania, Africa, Europe and North America, as well as worked in management capacities at U.N.ESCAP (Bangkok), UNDP, U.N.ECOSOC Committee on Development Policy (New York), Society for International Development (Rome), International Development Evaluation Association (London) and OECD/DAC Committee on Emerging Economies (Paris).
