Aguilera, Ruth V.

Dr. Aguilera is the Darla and Frederick Brodsky Trustee Professor in Global Business at the D’Amore-McKim School of Business, Northeastern University, and Visiting Professor at ESADE Business School in Barcelona. She holds a PhD from Harvard University and is a leading authority on comparative corporate governance, examining how ownership structures and national institutions shape the conduct of the firm. She has published more than one hundred articles in the field’s leading journals, is Deputy Editor of the Journal of International Business Studies, and has been elected Fellow of the Academy of Management, the Strategic Management Society, the Academy of International Business and the International Corporate Governance Society, whose board she chairs.
