Sharma, Sanjay

Dr. Sharma is the Dean of the Grossman School of Business, University of Vermont since 2011. Prior to that he was the Dean of the John Molson School of Business in Montreal, the largest business school in Canada and the Canada Research Chair in Organizational Sustainability. He is a pioneer in corporate sustainability research with 8 books and over 100 articles. He is the recipient of the Distinguished Scholar Award in Organizations and the Natural Environment from the Academy of Management in 2017 and his latest book “Competing for a Sustainable World” was a runner up for the Best Book Award at the Academy of Management in 2015. Before pursuing an academic career, he was a senior manager and CEO with multinational corporations for 16 years.
