Okonedo, Enase F. DBA

Dr. Enase F. Okonedo, DBA is Dean, Lagos Business School, Pan-African University (2009 to date). During this period she:

  • Refocused the school’s vision from addressing the Nigerian business environment to addressing Africa and emerging markets through her research agenda, new program structure and forging international alliances that has led to high-level collaboration with renowned institutions
  • Sustained Financial Times ranking of open-enrolment courses over the past 3 years
  • Developed broader scope for alumni engagement leading to highest alumni engagement in history of the school with an increase in attendance at alumni events by 102% over a two-year period
  • Grew customized programs for top corporate by 136% in 1 year
  • Established the Centre for Infrastructure, Policy Research and Advocacy (CIPRA) as well as concluded plans for the launch of two centers in 2012 – Centre for Competitiveness and Strategy and Centre for Research in Leadership and Ethics in Africa
  • Pioneered the launch of Modular Executive MBA and modular Senior Management Program
  • Launched programs in new segments including public sector and healthcare management.
  • Instituted systems and processes for staff development, ensuring professionalism of non-faculty cadre
  • Established a scheme to attract Nigerian academics in top global business schools on a regular basis to LBS for visiting professorships positions
  • Chair the Management Team of Lagos Business School
  • Participate as a member of the Pan-African University Management Council, the Pan-African University Governing Council and Senate of the Pan-African University.
